There's a big difference in our thinking now and in the future. Today,
we admire the one who pushes his way to the top in any way of life, and in
the future we will admire the one who abandons his ego. And I ask
myself: What is important in our life? Awards?
In deep medieval time Mik won a first prize and title Photographer of the Year:

Photographer of the Year 2000 - Competition Caucasus Peaks in Munchen
Photographer of the Year 1998 - Competition Mountainohoto in Wien
Photographer of the Year 1998 - Competition Nature Landscape in Prague
Photographer of the Year 1993 - Competition Press Morava - documentary photography
Photographer of the Year 1991 - Competition Press Munich - documentary photography
Mik was two years Headman Photosection Czech News - newspaper, and too many years he worked as photographer and graphic designer.
Mik was Member of the Czech Journalist Association from 1992 and he was accepted as a Member of the International Federation of Journalist in 1997.
